September was a busy month for events! As the cooler months set in, we are happy to have the time to participate in more events, both out in the community and hosted in our own space. Here's a little recap of what we got up to last month!
The Anchorage Concert Association is an important member of our vibrant downtown community and we were thrilled to support them for the third year in a row at their All Access fundraiser event. We brought custom mini ice cream sandwiches in two flavors for guests at the event who were treated to wine and bites of foods from other local Alaskan restaurants. We had so much fun listening to live music, chatting with other vendors, and of course giving out our adorably small and tasty ice cream sandwiches!
We were excited to partner with Olympian Rosie Frankowski and Alyeska Resort for Wild Scoops on the Mountain! Rosie led a group of hikers up the trail to the top of Alyeska where we had an assortment of well-deserved frozen treats for hikers to enjoy. It was a beautiful sunny fall day and we were delighted to provide treats to more than 150 hikers of all ages!
Having a little extra elbow room at our new midtown shop has given us the opportunity to do fun events in our own space. This month we hosted A Crepe Crew for a delicious pop-up event featuring 3 delicious sweet crepe options paired with a scoop of our ice cream. Our favorite combo was the caramel apple crepe with our AK Honeycomb ice cream :) We're looking forward to hosting more events and pop-ups in our new space - stay tuned to our social media channels for information about those!
