We Alaskans LOVE our salmon! It's a natural resource that we appreciate and work to conserve for future generations.
Today was the first annual Alaska Wild Salmon Day, and celebrations popped up across the state. In Anchorage, The Alaska Center hosted an amazing BBQ with informational booths, costumes and a wild bucking salmon to try riding. In honor of the occasion, all Wild Scoops cups and cones came topped with a baby "salmon" (Swedish fish). Hurray for salmon!
