Cranberries mean fall! They're the rubies of the tundra, the tart jewels of autumn.
Last year, we experimented with high-bush and low-bush cranberries, and this year we're excited to bring some of the results to market.
We started with some low-bush cranberries, also called lingonberries, picked for us by a few friends.

We mixed it in with our standard base to get a pretty, pinkish, mildly tart flavor. After churning, we swirled in tart cranberry sauce and some white chocolate morsels to balance it all out.

We also have used it for some of our macaron sandwiches.
